Ingredients of Mommas Chilli
- Prepare 2 lb of Ground beef.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of Green pepper.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of Sweet onion.
- It's 1 packages of Mild cheddar cheese shredded.
- It's 2 packages of Chili mix.
- Prepare 1 can of Red kidney beans.
- Prepare 1 can of Chili beans.
- You need 3 tbsp of Butter.
- You need 1 can of Diced tomatoes.
- You need 2 large of Fresh tomato.
Mommas Chilli instructions
- Preheat oven to 350..
- Brown ground beef ( or turkey) in large skillet. Drain all grease from meat. Put meat in large baking dish aside..
- Chop up all fresh veggies.
- Melt butter in pan and cook down all fresh veggies ie green pepper/onion/tomato.
- Put chili mix into meat mixture, add kidney beans, add chili beans mix together well.
- Add sauteed veggies to meat and mix again.
- Pat flat and sprinkle cheese over tip.
- Bake 15 minutes and serve.
- *Adding fritos chips and a spoonful of sour cream is optional.
