Ingredients of Mommas Chilli

  1. Prepare 2 lb of Ground beef.
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup of Green pepper.
  3. Prepare 1/2 cup of Sweet onion.
  4. It's 1 packages of Mild cheddar cheese shredded.
  5. It's 2 packages of Chili mix.
  6. Prepare 1 can of Red kidney beans.
  7. Prepare 1 can of Chili beans.
  8. You need 3 tbsp of Butter.
  9. You need 1 can of Diced tomatoes.
  10. You need 2 large of Fresh tomato.

Mommas Chilli instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350..
  2. Brown ground beef ( or turkey) in large skillet. Drain all grease from meat. Put meat in large baking dish aside..
  3. Chop up all fresh veggies.
  4. Melt butter in pan and cook down all fresh veggies ie green pepper/onion/tomato.
  5. Put chili mix into meat mixture, add kidney beans, add chili beans mix together well.
  6. Add sauteed veggies to meat and mix again.
  7. Pat flat and sprinkle cheese over tip.
  8. Bake 15 minutes and serve.
  9. *Adding fritos chips and a spoonful of sour cream is optional.
